The message 'Battery not charging' started to appear intermittently and when the battery charged it was around 14 volts. This problem became less intermittent and was constant, so I checked the wires to the alternator while the truck was running and found that they were about 10 volts, meaning they need power, but the wire comes out the back of my der Generator had no voltage indicating that the generator was defective. Changed in about half an hour and as if by magic no more problems! I now have about 11.5 volts. This block is well built and well checked. It cost me about $93. Locally it would cost $215 plus a $25 core fee, which I didn't have to pay here, so now I've got a bunch of copper wires and stuff to play with! Go this route if you can!
