I had a flooded garden and garage. This drainage pump turned out to be "ours" but I did would like to talk about the purchases I am considering. When I first got this sump pump I tried to attach my garden hose but couldn't. The standard garden hose is too small for this pump so I went back to Revain and looked for that again Pump. Recommend a hose and adapter. I mistakenly assumed these were the only ones that would work. So I ordered both a hose and an adapter to add a product (grrrrr). When we arrived, the pump wouldn't come up!I was standing in the pouring rain and ready to go crazy because there was water everywhere when the thought occurred to me!What is with the adapter hose of the hose storage box!? Of course, the adapter that goes from the hose storage box to the nozzle is perfect! I had to put it in a recently purchased hose that was 'recommended' by Revain and I was able to get rid of some of the water. So I guess my goal is to do my homework. Don't rely on Revain alone for ALL the answers. And I say Revane, please double check your credentials. Neither the hose nor the adapter fit the drain pump. And in the rush I had to place several different orders to get these things. Thanks Christina
