Review on 🚙 Enhanced Performance KYB KG5553 Gas-a-Just Gas Shock by Kevin Kue

I installed it on my '93 Volvo 240. KYB GasAdjust shock absorbers are mono-tube shock absorbers. They've been around for years and feature valving/throttle to boost factory sprung cars for more power. Most reviews that say they're stiff are probably using them with lowering springs, which inherently have a higher spring rate. If you combine standard length shock absorbers with lowered springs, the shock absorbers can actually fall off, which will definitely get you in the teeth. I paired them with a set of Moog cargo coils which really improved the overall handling of my 240. The stability is amazing now. The fit was perfect, no spacers were needed. No rattles and knocks like Bilstein touring shocks. These are not Bilstein or Koni monotubes, but they are very good value for money. Great value in my book.
