Review on Ford Door Latch Cable Repair Kit for F-series, E-series, Ranger, Expedition, Excursion, Navigator - Repairs Eight Cables (6 Standard + 2 LOCKING CAM) by Jay Mitchell

The cable entry must be drilled and widened. After that or excellent for the price.

Almost all the same as they are from China. You will need to drill a small hole at the end to allow the cable to pass through the piece of metal unhindered. I always install these. If you have a Ford, you know what I'm talking about. I just drilled a small hole in the end like in the picture I show you. And then the side is so tight that I take a small screwdriver and tap it until it stops up and down the line. This allows it to open a bit more to allow the cable to be fed inside. After that you can go forever. I would like to make one point for people with Ford. If you've been told on YouTube or by my mechanic how to replace an entire set of long cables and latches, that's not true. If you buy them and disassemble them yourself, you can easily remove the cheap plastic parts that go bad and just plug them in. It will save you almost $140, yes. I hope this helps you a lot, I wanted to post more pictures and information but I can't. You only love a picture. Much luck
