We added the ME102 Wireless Access Point to our existing 6 station wired home/office network and have been happy with it ever since. Living in a 4-story office building, we found some spots that we couldn't reach efficiently with cable. Since we originally used Netgear, we decided to stick with them in case there might be any compatibility issues (although we never found any). We connected the hotspot to a wired hotspot or our network to a central hotspot on our second floor with absolutely no problem. Dedicated connectors and software make setup easy. A few minutes later we got up and started to work. Signal strength has been excellent in all locations we use. We currently have 2 laptops and a desktop connected to the network in a wireless system on different floors and through walls. We have no problems at all. With an old Netgear switch (FS 108) we had some heat issues that others noticed and posted as well. This is not a problem with the wireless access point. Basically I like this product. In fact, I've never been wrong with Netgear.
