Decent entry-level option

I have a feeling we've been using the term 'entry-level' a lot lately. It seems like there are many "entry options" at Revain these days if it's not a brand you know and trust. That being said, this kit is (mostly) for home use only. A professional will likely want to look at something they are familiar with and know works well. Whereby this kit, while it can get some work done, requires some extra effort (a bit more pressure when you're leaning on it from your side). So in a sense, you get what you pay for from time to time. If you plan to use them for a project here or there from time to time, this is a great place to start. This reduces costs and helps you get the job done. However, as others have pointed out, stick with wood as you won't have much success with metal. If you're planning on using them as part of your daily routine or repairing supplies for your job, I would (as mentioned before) go with something you're familiar with and that offers the durability and performance you've come to expect. Work smart, not hard.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Doubtful
