The handlebars on my new bike are a bit strange; Exposed parts are vertical rather than horizontal, making it difficult to install accessories. Also, the handlebars aren't very wide, so I had to get a mirror that sticks out from behind the grips. This mirror serves its purpose perfectly. At first I didn't use the spacer that came with it and it didn't stay right, but then I found some extra parts and reinstalled it. It's been great ever since. I have good rear vision which is great as I usually drive on the road.
