As others have said they work great if you take a few extra steps. Here they are in short for Windows 10: 1) Download the CH340 drivers. You can find them in many places. I got mine from https://sparks.gogo.co.nz/ch340.html 2) Connect your device with a micro USB cable 3) Locate "Ports (COM & LPT)". In this category you will find Nano. Mine appeared as "RAMPS". If you have other stuff in it, just disconnect and reconnect Nano and see what pops up. 4) Right click on the device and select "Update driver". 5) Select "View my computer". 6) Select "Let me pick from a list." 7) The CH340 driver should be an option in the list that appears. Mine shows it as "USB-SERIAL CH340" 8) In the Arduino IDE, use an Aruino Nano board with an ATMega328P bootloader. All mine use this bootloader, not the old one, but some people say the old one works for them. And if you're like me: 9) You save a lot with these boards. Please donate a few bucks to Arduino .cc because you are using their software at bogus charges and they deserve some love too. The savings are worth it.
