OK. It is a Truck GPS

I am a truck driver and have used many different GPS devices over the years. It doesn't look like the technology will really have progressed that far in 20 years. Of course if you follow him you will get there, the problem is. Local municipalities do not notify the state DOT of road changes in a timely manner, so the information on maps in many GPS systems is not updated. We have roads that have been under construction for more than 5 years and have been in use for 2 years. According to the navigation system, I drive through fields and jump over rivers. I've had two TND models (both up to date), both only lasted about a year each (both batteries failed), lucky I had my address book backed up. when locations are added (800+). That way I was able to download a copy to my latest without any problems. Hopefully this will last longer than a year, hopefully the maps will be updated at some point. If that fails, hopefully my address book is compatible with the new version.
