Edit 2 (07/06/21): I am updating the product rating. The overheating problem arose because the adapter I was using was not good. In fact, the problem was not in the lamp. I found an adapter that completely eliminates the heating problem. My only suggestion would be that HIMOON include a 5v2a adapter. But a very good lamp for the price. I can also recommend their cushions that I got with this lamp. The pillows are very comfortable. The support rep I spoke to was very helpful; I received a response and confirmation of my suggestions for the idea of an adapter very quickly. The rep was so helpful I think they should train other staff on customer service. (With a promotion or bonus, of course). My revised rating is deducting a star due to the aforementioned screw not fitting into the thread at the junction of the lamp base and table clamp. This allowed the lamp to be pulled straight up out of the clamp without resistance. However, this is unlikely and the lamp is stable even without tightening the screw. The 2nd photo shows the relevant screw. The problem is that I could pull the screw straight out when it should be out. The rest of the lamp is beautifully designed and I love the look. Also, I checked that the lamp can be powered by my portable phone charger and it worked, which is pretty cool. Edit: The customer service team contacted me and offered a satisfactory solution. I have shared my comments with them and I believe they will try to incorporate these suggestions into improving their product. I bought it as part of a kit. The lamp could be very useful, but it has several significant disadvantages. First, the clip holds tight, but the screw that attaches the lamp body to the clip is broken from the packaging. The lamp stays on, but it is wobbly and loose. Second, when connected to the network and at one of the higher brightness settings, the USB port produces a high-pitched tone that is noticeable and distracting. For this reason, I cannot use the brightness settings that I need at my workplace. Third, the lamp suddenly went out after being plugged in for only about 20 minutes. Socket and USB plug were very hot. The product was delivered without a USB adapter. I think the lamp body is great, easy to assemble and looks great. However, clamping issues and overheating issues make this product too unpredictable and potentially dangerous for storage. I would recommend a product that comes with an adapter that guarantees no overheating or noise issues. It's a shame, because the optics are very chic.
