Step drill bit are great for sheet metal as they cut curves (twist drills often cut 3-flute drills and will grab/pull as soon as you punch through the back) Sometimes total pitches are too large and drilling is a little more than ideal Metric sizes sometimes have good sizes missing sizes (like holes for nut inserts) There are many sizes in this set, in a way I wish the big one had a larger round shank (I don't think it's possible to rip off the small hex for strength or precision), but it does is probably a more expensive set.
