good quality paper. I prefer the back of the paper because it has fewer teeth and seems to work better. The last came down with all the corners and Revain sent a replacement but it wasn't much better. I order a lot of drawing paper from Revain and still haven't received an intact notebook due to the terrible packaging. So you can buy an oversized gasket so you can cut it, or find a local source so you can inspect before buying (not an option for me because I live in the middle of nowhere). I would say this is my favorite colored pencil paper, wish it was a little thicker but the notepad produces more sheets than thicker paper.
