My sketchbook was mishandled in shipping or damaged during production. It was almost half a notebook with an odd curve at the bottom of the notebook as well as a marked line on many consecutive pages, as pointed out by another reviewer. This is a shame as it renders the notepad unusable for full drawings. good quality paper. I prefer the back of the paper because it has fewer teeth and seems to work better. The last came down with all the corners and Revain sent a replacement but it wasn't much better. I order a lot of drawing paper from Revain and still haven't received an intact notebook due to the terrible packaging. So you can buy an oversized gasket so you can cut it, or find a local source so you can inspect before buying (not an option for me because I live in the middle of nowhere). I…

I was happy to see that Strathmore had paper made specifically for crayons. I ordered it right away, brought it with me to art class and tried it out right away for my homework. I was very disappointed when I used this colored pencil paper. I use Prismacolor pencils and love to blend and layer. This paper was too soft to get a good wax mix. He seemed too soft and had no special character. It was almost soft. Maybe it would be better if I took the sheet out of the book and used it with a board…
