Review on B'laster 128-SS Surface Shield Bulk 1-Gal Pail: Ultimate Protection for Various Surfaces by Bradley Stewart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good primer, but do not wash the bottom of the car!

I applied this primer on August 24th (2021) using a Surface Shield sprayer bought on eBay. Today is December 18th, 2021. The primer is holding up very well so far, as you can see in the photos here. I'll update when a full year has passed because I want to see if it lasts as long as you guys. , but that's because I run it through tunnel washers with a bottom washing function. So beware buyers, DO NOT use an underbody cleaner until winter is over! I am attaching a photo of the front subframe from late September 2021 (yes September 2021!), the photo was probably taken after 2-3 automatic floor washes. I didn't think anything of it until now, thinking the Surface Shield had turned into a smooth, invisible surface. But now I realized that the Surface Shield stayed on the rear subframe and emergency brake lines significantly longer. The other photos attached are of the rear subframe taken in December 2021. So PROTECT THE UNDERWEAR BEFORE SPRING! Good news: The Blaster Surface Shield is still INSIDE the subframes that I spraypainted inside. I accidentally stuck my finger in the front subframe and pulled it out, completely covered with the Blaster Surface Shield. This happened in July 2022 (11 months after I painted it in late August 2021). The finish also remains on the rear subframe as shown in the attached image captioned August 11, 2022. It will get a little blotchy, but I'm sorry. this is due to the bottom wash. Also, the rear subframe cover lasted as long as I wanted and protected my car for at least a year. NOTE. When I primed my car in August 2021, I used 12 ounce cans of Blaster Surface Shield. That's why you haven't seen the "Verified Purchase" label next to my review until today. I just bought the whole 1 gallon and a special primer sprayer to cover everything at a much more efficient price. I paid eBay about $13 for a 6-pack last year and to be honest I think it was fake.
