Review on Tetra Whisper Repair Kit for 60 and 100 Air Pump - Durable and Efficient Solution by Fred Reid

Fantastic. I have a 30-60 whisper pump and it fits a 60/100 kit. I've photographed what they look like and also what exactly the problem is when your pump stops working. This round black rubber drum breaks after a while and that's why all this mess is because it stops blowing air, as you can see in my drawing. I don't know why they don't just sell the black rubber drum separately because it bolts onto that silver piece and the round rubber thing actually just snaps onto the white square plastic so you can just replace the rubber that tears after a while. It's welded on the other side of that screw. I also took photos of the welded part. Now the little o-rings were a problem with installation as the groove they go in isn't deep enough to hold them while you insert the part into its groove so you have to be careful and make sure the O-rings are installed correctly. and not be crushed and moved. I wish they would tape them or something so they stay in place and don't move at all. Again they are forcing you to buy this whole kit so why are the o-rings separate from the part as if there is a way to just buy the o-rings if only something happens to them. However, people have said that swapping out the parts on this pump was easy, but I found it a little tricky and not 100% easy at all. I'm still not sure if the o-rings were installed correctly. It's working fine now, but hey. I won't touch it again until next time it stops blowing air.
