Review on 💦 Enhance Water System Performance with Jabsco 1L Accumulator Tank w/Internal Bladder by Casey Oliver

Received this last week and was able to install it easily. After gathering everything I needed, I turned on the pump and found a very slow drip from the junction of the fittings with the tank through the o-ring. After disassembling all the parts I found that the o-rings that came with the fittings were sub standard. They were scored from a poorly made mold and were really too small for the task. Both of these design flaws contributed to a slow but constant leakage. I only run at 45psi and they are leaking. They do not withstand the maximum pressure of the product. The solution turned out to be simple and cheap. For only $1.50 I was able to purchase two new o-rings at a local hardware store that were slightly thicker than the originals and were not grooved. I used a small amount of silicone sanitary grease for assembly. The new o-rings were much tighter than the original ones and I felt the difference right away. I pumped up the pump, purged the system of air, and now the tank holds pressure without dripping. It's a shame that an otherwise good product was marred by such poor quality parts.
