I wasn't entirely sure if it was the right o-ring because the part number isn't a pistol, and also a look at the original o-ring (looks , as if someone had hit it with a hammer) I dared. My pistol vented as soon as it was hooked up to the air duct and pulling the trigger had no effect. I oiled it with air tool oil and put it back in place, it was tight, very tight but eventually it settled into its groove. And solved the air leak.
