Dual Rank 16GB seems fine in Synology DS920+
There are lots of mixed reports with aftermarket RAM on the DS920+. This is about the middle of the pack between risk and price.I ran the RAM test from Synology Assistant overnight. Even though this memory is larger than the max officially supported (all the better for VMs and Docker images) all tests passed and I found no issues.Be aware that since this isn't the official brand, the first boot after its' installed will complain about using unofficial products. That seems to be the end of that dispute; you're notified but it all works just fine.
- I put this RAM in my Synology RS1221+. Works great even though it's not supported by Synology.
- May not be compatible with all laptop models
