Kit received and installed today. Before buying, read the "negative" reviews that the skin is uneven. It's okay, a few minutes of grinding rod and you're done. I didn't expect the leather to fit perfectly on the disc as it is made from an animal and the people making the leather are not machinists. Works perfectly! I use it to sharpen my screw holes. It gives the instruments a very nice mirror surface. I've been using the WS3000 for a few years now but never got around to using it for carving tools. Should have bought this much sooner. However you cut your mustard, it's a good deal. A blank pane of glass costs about $20, and you can get a leather pane for $4. Several posters complained that it should have been included with the car. Not so fast, I didn't need it for the chisel. Like most people who only use it for chisels. So why should they pay the extra $25? Then you have something lying around that you don't use? Sounds stupid to me!
