Great pump for the price. I hesitated to buy this because I didn't think I would use it enough to make it worthwhile; HOWEVER, four systems later, he did just that. and more. I know some people who prefer hose connectors that automatically push on Schrader valves when you snap them into place; However, this increases the likelihood of refrigerant leaks and air in the lines, as well as the possibility of injury. It can be difficult to remember to open and close the valves on both ends of the hose, but this is probably the best way. The ONLY reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is pretty minor - I wish they would go ahead and include a tap for the R134a that attaches to the hose. You still need to buy it to properly use the system, so why not include it?
