Our 2-year-old Golden usually demolishes plush toys in a matter of minutes. However, he's had the red alien for three days now and only the teeth have been torn out. As a methodical destructor of all things plush, he's surprisingly taking his time gnawing on the tentacles and hasn't ripped the seams yet. So far this is the toughest plush I've found and I'd order it again. Also, for reviewers asking why you'd give a destructive dog a plush toy instead of an antler chew, I've found that my dog gets bored with only antlers, rubber toys, and rope tugs. But giving him a plush every once in a while gets him excited beyond belief. Even if this thing only lasts a month, I'll consider it a win.
