The glass bottle itself is quite strong and the glass seems quite thick. It has markings on the side so it's useful when you need to know how much oil you have left etc. The only downside is that the spout is a bit wider than expected but there is a lid that you need to open/ close button. The lid's plastic feels cheap and hurts a little when you push it open. I wanted it to be more responsive when opening/closing or have a better design for opening or closing plastic. UPDATE: After many days of use I've found that the base isn't actually flat and I've kept blaming it on my kitchen. Either way, there's nothing more annoying than hesitation, so here's another star.
