This large trailer is too small for my German Shepherd Spank who has degenerative myelopathy (DM) but doesn't mind he can't lie down in it because he prefers to sit when travelling. On healthier days we walked for miles together (me in my stroller, he on sound legs). I want him to be able to enjoy his rounds like he used to in his final month, that's why I bought this trailer. We've only done 3 rides so far and I feel like I've already paid my money back for these amazing wheels. When Spank is in the trailer and we're driving at 20 km/h *ss, this boy feels like the king of the world! It's easy to see. His sluggish hind legs made him bored with little exercise (although he swims every day), but this trailer reignited his zest for life - he playfully barked at everyone, every dog and especially every cat in sight. well made, zippers, canvas, mesh and all. I removed the pillow on the bottom and replaced it with a gel mat as Spunk's crazy hind legs just crawled over the pillow.
