I didn't have too high expectations when I ordered but didn't want to spend money on a second Occidental leather belt for my electrician's bag (have had the electrician's and carpenter's bags with a belt back and forth for years ). However, I was really impressed with the quality for $11. The strap is very strong (not the flimsy harness stuff that comes with cheap tool belts) and the metal buckle feels solid. I wouldn't want to use it with a heavily loaded 2-bag carpentry rig because I think the thinner and narrower 2" strap tends to dig into your flesh, but it's perfect for a typical electrician's bag .
