Review on Edge Preglued Adhesive Perfection Application by Joshua Beaule

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Highly Recommended - Building Materials

Update: We've used 5 rolls so far (and need one more). The quality is very good and the adhesive can still be pulled or moved without any problems. We use it on class a/b plywood. We had to switch to inexpensive plywood (home depot $30 per sheet). Slow down and take your time with the glue, but it always sticks. (i.e. heat strongly and press the glue into the pores of the wood with a wooden edge). We've seen several "short joints" in the 3-foot range. Both items are very demanding as I've seen $200 for a rolled edge that doesn't work as well as this one. We are very happy with this product. And I hope he stays long. First Review: We used one roll and ordered another. The veneer itself is of good quality. We saw virtually no flaws or joints in it. It paints well and takes paint well. We usually process it straight from the roll without smoothing it out. (You can use the edge of a table to take the veneer out like this.) It tends to move a bit when applied than the other edge we used, but it heats up slightly and adjusts to the correct position so it's not really a problem. Edge trimming works as expected. We have only been using cabinets made with this product for a short time so I cannot comment on long term adhesion/quality. But there's no sign of him pulling or moving. Overall a good product at a good price.
