Excellent adhesion - no separation on 200+ foot edges!

I have to say the connections are almost invisible. That was my biggest concern. When ironing, it's important to understand that once the glue starts to melt, the veneer will move quite easily. Trimming with a small planer works well, but check the grain direction so you don't accidentally cut into the plywood veneer. I ended up trimming with 120 grit sandpaper; it took a little longer but also got rid of the splinters. I played around with the iron and found that it takes almost 30 seconds to…

We had to switch to inexpensive plywood (home depot $30 per sheet). Slow down and take your time with the glue, but it always sticks. (i.e. heat strongly and press the glue into the pores of the wood with a wooden edge). We've seen several "short joints" in the 3-foot range. Both items are very demanding as I've seen…

The edge band is glued.

This is a high quality edging tape. Be especially careful to measure the edge width VS of the width required for your project. This edge is not ideal for 3/4" projects. If you are an expert you might be able to handle a 3/4" project but absolutely no snagging (see photo). My project is a 1/2". thick MDF which I will layer to use as a reference. This border works fine and the corners stick together easily. Some reviews complain that the glued parts are visible or too close together making the edge
