Review on 🏋️ Highland 2006200 Heavy Duty Black Bar Carrier by Phil Casey

I purchased these roof bars to replace worn cross bars on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee. I am very impressed with the quality and durability of my new roof rack. As you can see from my photos I have two 10ft kayaks mounted on it. They didn't even give way under the weight of the two kayaks. The brackets for my kayak also fit perfectly. I look forward to throwing wood at them to test their strength! Definitely a good buy considering the low price. From reading the instructions to tightening the last screw, it took about two hours. I would like to point out that this happened even though I was moving at a snail's pace and without haste! However, they require a low level of mechanical knowledge and basic tool use. I used a 1/2" deep socket, a 1/2" open-end wrench, and a 5/16" bit in my trusty cordless drill. That's all! Just make sure you have a small step stool, to facilitate installation on your car.
