The pivots were not smooth, with a little play in the movement that got me thinking. Replacement o-rings were included, but there is no way to pull out or knock out the locking pin. I never used them and ordered another manufacturer's version. I had to go somewhere inaccessible and didn't want to risk the maritime transmission fluid side. They also did NOT have left handed counter grooves to hold the coupler on the hose. This makes it difficult to keep the hose pressed against the fitting when you turn the clamp down to tighten the hose on the fitting.
