Might need that and a switch but it's part of the solution
Well first I replaced the switch with an acdelco I ordered a few years ago. Didn't bring anything good, didn't even turn around. So I ordered this replacement lock with key and cylinder. It took over 30 minutes to relearn the password. It still didn't turn. So I removed the battery and charged it overnight. I put the battery back in the next day and it still won't start. So a mobile mechanic met me at the car. I arrived a few minutes early and low, and then off we went. I think I may still have some soil issues but this product worked great.
