If you think it's great for making metal like parts, you're looking for the wrong material. Don't get me wrong, it's a great general purpose material, but it absolutely fits and doesn't look even remotely like metal, and if you're buying this with the idea that you can make parts that look like real metal for your build , you will be very disappointed. . It looks like regular gray PLA with a little bit of shine, that's all, but it basically just looks like plastic. There are other silk polylactides that have a magical metal-like effect. This isn't one of them. For some reason it also won't go through a damn jet below 230C, EVEN. I've never seen a silk PLA with requirements like this and went through a couple of jet jams before figuring it out.
