My wife and I are in the process of buying her parents' house and have decided to paint the kitchen cabinets to refresh the space. Since we wanted to remove all cabinet doors, we also decided to replace the old standard hinges with Euro closing hinges. First, let me say that we're happy with the hinges themselves. They were relatively easy to install (if you have the right tools) and it's nice that they have three different soft-close function settings. HOWEVER there is incorrect information in the listing when it comes to the diameter of the hole, the hole in the cabinet door to install this hinge. In the description and even on the packaging of the product it says "drill diameter 45mm" when in fact you need a standard 35mm diameter. 1/4" overlay hinges are very hard to come by, so when purchasing I also did my best to find the listed 45mm Forstner bit that I would need. It was an additional expense that proved unnecessary and that bit will be reimbursed. If you are a regular DIY enthusiast and looking to install these hinges in your home, I would wholeheartedly support the Kreg Concealed Hinge Fixing!
