Questionable Quality

I recently installed about 36 of these cabinets while renovating a kitchen and removing visible hinges. 2 of these were defective out of the box - one was bent so it couldn't be installed and one wouldn't open/close. They have now been installed for 2 full months and the hinges on the cabinets I use daily have lost almost all of their soft close function. I'll look for another MFG to replace them - at least for frequently used cabinets.

Good quality, easy installation

Love the hinges! They are easy to install using the Kreg tool. The only reason I could give them a slightly lower rating is not quality related, but the hinges didn't come with instructions. The Kreg system instructs the user to follow the hinge manufacturer's installation instructions, so I made a small mistake on the first cut, but it's an easy fix. If you buy these hinges and want to use the Kreg assembly tool, set the depth to 3 and you'll be fine!

A fancy dollar upgrade is no problem

The product worked as advertised. My only suggestion is make sure you do your homework and replace the hinge properly - find out what type of escutcheon you have, as well as the type of cabinet frame you need to fit the hinges to. If you can get the right hinge for the job, you're spot on. They were easy to install - holes were already pre-drilled in my cabinets - so it literally took me 5-10 minutes to take the door off, take off the old hinges, put the new ones on and put the door back on…

All materials are missing

Hinges appear strong and durable. The middle damping setting does not work. It's either a really really soft snap starting almost six inches from the snap, or it slams. Probably one of the most annoying things is that I bought two packs of 50 hinges about a week apart and both packs only contained half the screws I needed. So I paid $270 for 100 hinges, but the company is trying to save a dollar by only giving me half the screws needed to install the hinges. Too bad my cabinets weren't 1/4"…

Watch out for the gap! for cabinet devices

We are renovating our kitchenette in the basement. In an attempt to update the look of our cabinets, we wanted to replace the old hinges with hidden hinges. Luckily my husband made a test door out of reclaimed wood to test out the hinges before we went crazy and put all the pocket holes in our closet doors. Note. Our cabinets have a front frame with 1/4" overlay doors. After we installed the new hidden hinges, there was a noticeable gap between the door and the frame. I've read other reviews…

The only 1/4 overlay around, but the soft close is mostly without function.

The closing springs on these hinges are too soft, allowing a cabinet door to close in a full 48 seconds with the default soft close setting. The soft setting gets too loose and just pops like normal. Apparently, the feature will still be completely disabled. Also, I'm concerned about the huge difference in spring tension and therefore closure time from loop to loop. That tells me there are some kinks that still need to be worked out in either the design or the manufacturing process. The door…

product excellent; The ad contains incorrect information

My wife and I are in the process of buying her parents' house and have decided to paint the kitchen cabinets to refresh the space. Since we wanted to remove all cabinet doors, we also decided to replace the old standard hinges with Euro closing hinges. First, let me say that we're happy with the hinges themselves. They were relatively easy to install (if you have the right tools) and it's nice that they have three different soft-close function settings. HOWEVER there is incorrect information in

No, not a pipe dream! Perfect upgrade for any cabinet with a 1/4 " rosette

This is SUCH an improvement over the double detachable hinges we had. easy, and for the first time my closet doors are perfectly straight and level. After removing the removable twin hinges, I filled all the holes with wood putty and sanded them flat so it looked like I started with a brand new one. I bought a piece of via ferrata recommended by other reviews and adjusted it to 3mm as advised by other reviewers and they turned out to be PERFECT! Even the pilot holes line up perfectly on the…

Works well but would like more settings.

Since these loops require a 3/8 inch depth and a 1/2 inch depth because the Kreg tool will fit, I added this washer to the shank of the bit , which gave me the ideal depth of 3/8 inch. I had to use the 4mm setting on the mount. I first tried 3mm on two doors and lifted the doors to see how they fit. The doors met in the middle and I had to make all the lateral adjustments on each hinge just to get a skinny 1/16 inch space. After that I used the 4mm setting on the jig and that opened it up…
