Newbie Error in Electric Door Lock

This was literally the first time I decided to do anything on the car. I bought this CRV because I knew I would try to learn more about repairing things related to my car myself. In a video I saw on YouTube the job looked so easy until I got to these 3 screws and finally removed them. It was the longest process of all. But even when the door panel is reinstalled, there is a piece of black plastic next to the side mirror that needs to be removed before the door can go in. It's been almost 2 months and it still works and gave me the confidence to do more!
