This filter is thick! It's almost twice as thick as the Motorcraft filter it replaced, with thicker paper and rib density than Fram or Motorcraft. As with any filter, the better it works, the harder it is for air to get through. This is an inefficient K&N filter but is essential in dusty and poor conditions and will save your engine in the long run. It doesn't get any better for €13. It has a thicker foam seal than other filters, so depending on the design of the airbox, a little extra effort is required to insert it. The Ford F150 style clips were clip tight so those with arthritis may have an issue. A GM-style airbox shouldn't be a problem.
