Shiny, sharp, hot!
No, I'm not talking about part of my anatomy, I'm talking about those interchangeable tips. I'm cheap and used my original soldering tip LONG after I should have. I got over the frustration of having to press hard or hold onto the solder joints longer than safe as the tip was prone to corrosion. Don't skimp, spend a few bucks to get more tips, it's worth it.
