It was nice to have several as I broke 2 on my first install attempts. It broke both times, but that was due to the brush getting stuck in my hair, so I had to do extra maintenance to keep the brush spinning and working. On the 3rd try it worked like clockwork. Also, I'm pretty sure it was the way I screwed on the bottom cap that let the elastic snap into place. I would recommend and buy again.
