Review on Delphi FG0375 Fuel Pump Module by Ben Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice pump, perfect fit!

My 2003 Grand Am's fuel pump has died. Died right in my garage after being 150 miles out of town earlier in the day. lucky! Somehow I realized it could be the 168,000 mile fuel pump. It wouldn't start, so I sprayed some starter fluid in the intake manifold and it started right up for a second or two. Did it twice to make sure I was right. I got in the car and turned the key until the fuel pump kicked in, but the starter wouldn't turn. Get rid of that horrible "groan" that sounded like a sick and dying fuel pump. lol. Drained the tank, cleaned the top (always before removing the old fuel pump to prevent dirt etc from entering the tank). . This one fit perfectly. I put the tank back in place, put in some gas, filled the fuel pump a few times and it started right up and runs fine. A good product! Personally, I always use Delphi pumps on GM vehicles. I've learned from others that off-market brands don't usually last that long. An easy job, but you certainly don't want to replace the fuel pump more than once in any given vehicle unless you have to.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Everything is fine
