Delphi FG0375 Fuel Pump Module Review

My son's pump failed college. Local stores were charging $900 to replace it. I drove 9 hours, installed it in 2 hours and saved $750. Changed it in the garage and hid from the guards. I spilled some gas so I tried to blow up the fumes so no one would notice. :)

Bought for my 2002 Malibu which was having trouble starting after 168,000 miles. I watched a video on YouTube about the replacement and it took 2.5 hours to work in my garage. The fit was great, still works great and by doing it myself I saved a lot of other money haha.

I bought this for a 2000 Grand Am SE. The box it came in was Delphi (I assume the pump is a Delphi pump). I took the box and pump to a mechanic and they fixed it for me for $180. My mechanic has reported no problems to me. Hope this pump lasts forever. The car drives normally again.

My 2003 Grand Am's fuel pump has died. Died right in my garage after being 150 miles out of town earlier in the day. lucky! Somehow I realized it could be the 168,000 mile fuel pump. It wouldn't start, so I sprayed some starter fluid in the intake manifold and it started right up for a second or two. Did it twice to make sure I was right. Easy to install, works just like the OEM pump, no hassles to install or use. Have been driving the car for almost a month now with no problems. So far I haven't noticed any excessive noise or other issues while using it. It also comes with a new gasket and tank plate. The cables have been properly connected. It was a very OEM install with no issues. This went in the 2003 Chevy Cavalier with the 2.2-liter Ecotec engine.

I have received an official Delphi unit although this should not be a problem. It's just that some reviewers said they had an on and off brand. goes against you ----1) The exhaust pipe and muffler assembly needs to be disconnected from the engine manifold - and with rusty little bolts - this is a problem for the burner, repeated heating and cooling cycles and judicious use of electricity, so how about that Screws do not break in hard-to-remove places. Then the wiring has to be replaced just to…
