Review on Logitech G G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black by Mateusz Odachowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

- I consider it very important to be able to change the batteries at my discretion and not depend on the wires. If everything is clear with the wires in terms of convenience, then I did not consider the battery for the reason that they gradually fail and changing after, say, five years, a specific battery will not be very easy. It is especially bad if the manufacturer goes bankrupt or the model is discontinued. Batteries can be easily changed at any time or replaced with suitable form-factor batteries of any company and volume to your taste and wallet. This approach is as flexible as IBM PC logic. - After more than two years of continuous operation, I can say with confidence that the jamb with the wheel was successfully solved by replacing the worthless encoder with a TTC sensor. So the first thing after buying, remove the cover and make sure that you can see the metal case of the encoder marked "TTS" to the left of the wheel. - I have a very ambiguous attitude to the cover on magnets. On the one hand, it is convenient, easy to repair, and when it falls, part of the energy is absorbed by the flying cover and less goes to the main body, on the other hand, during intense battles in games or in a fit of righteous anger, you feel how the cover crawls under your hand. It's bad, I don't like it, it's good that it doesn't happen often.

Pros
  • - Convenient. Despite the size of the brush M, I prefer large mice because of the specific grip: I, figuratively speaking, hug the mouse, the palm is completely adjacent to the lid, the index and ring fingers are on the edge of the keys, the little finger touches the table; - Battery powered wireless mouse. More details in the comments; - Kind of like a super-duper-mega sensor with a resolution of 12022 dpi; - Ability to connect both via Bluetooth and proprietary radio channel LIGHTSPEED; - There are as many buttons as you need, that is, six (the wheel is pressed) and all are programmable. Seriously, six is enough for the eyes, I can’t stand it when they make a second keyboard out of a mouse; - Very long service life even from one battery; - Works great on nickel-metal hydride batteries. One GP2700 lasts six months, one Eneloop 1900 lasts eight months. - Five programmable speed settings for different situations, switch with one button in a circle or in the G-Hub software; - Range of signal reception - my respect - clicking on LMB, RMB is registered from 7 meters through two reinforced concrete walls; - G-Hub software, 6 years after the release, has finally been brought to mind and now it can be written as a plus. For example, it became possible through a PC with G-Hub to write speed settings to the ROM of the mouse and use the mouse with devices that do not have G-Hub installed without loss of convenience. - The fluoroplastic strips on the sole are excellent, they glide excellently, keep dirt out of the sensor and haven’t worn off at all in two years, although I drive the mouse on a rough table; - Immortal Omron switches for 20 million clicks.
Cons
  • - The erasing brand on the lid was not kicked, probably only by a lazy one. Shame in one word; - In the economy mode (and you will almost always use it in this mode), the sensor turns off and the mouse goes into standby mode after 5 minutes of inactivity, after which the mouse does not perform any first action (moving or pressing the button), spending time waking up ; - Although there are two battery compartments, you will only use one, because with two batteries the mouse becomes shamelessly heavy, the mouse weighs 90 g without batteries, 150 (!) g - with two NiMH batteries, 120 g - with one, 135 g - with two alkaline batteries, 112 g - with one.
