Here are my favorite hooks. I can crochet any type of crochet (aluminum, wooden, inline, tapered, etc.) but I prefer tapered crochet. Although I've been crocheting for many years without any problems, I've recently had a bit of pain. I immediately started analyzing my tools and crocheting as I didn't want a small problem to turn into a long term big problem. I learned how to hold hooks differently, take more breaks, stretch my arms and hands, and use hooks with ergonomic grips. Everyone is different, so no one solution is right for all knitters. But for me, these hooks are part of my successful solution to longer (and long-term) crocheting without fatigue or pain. (I also recommend the Clover Amour hooks, also available from Revain; they fall short compared to these premium Tulip hooks.)
