Practical & pretty

Without a doubt my favorite brand. I have long arms and they are long enough for me to be comfortable. Besides, they do their job. No problems with any type of yarn I've tried. You are attractive too. I have a candy set with a storage roll and I don't want to risk the hook getting lost (or confiscated by a mad security officer). So I bought all my favorites in pink. They complement the candy set quite well. However, the metal on Candy's hook is distinctly pink, while on these it's almost all…

Get the original Etimo and miss the Etimo Rose

Comfortable grip and nice color (even the metal is pink which you can't see in the picture) but that's the only advantage. I bought 2 of these (3.5mm, 4mm) to try before I buy the whole set. I'm glad I did because these hooks don't slide smoothly through the yarn like the original Etimos do. Hooks themselves honestly don't work any better than Boye hooks. For the price, the grip and color benefits just aren't worth it. If you are considering a full set of these hooks, I recommend buying 1 first

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Although I've been crocheting for many years without any problems, I've recently had a bit of pain. I immediately started analyzing my tools and crocheting as I didn't want a small problem to turn into a long term big problem. I learned how to hold hooks differently, take more breaks, stretch my arms and hands, and use hooks with ergonomic grips. Everyone is…
