My husband is an avid coin collector and part of coin authentication is weighing them. He has used this scale a lot since receiving it and is very happy with it. It's accurate enough for small coins (like mercury coins) but also works well for things like silver eagles. He has a tare function, which he appreciates (i.e. if he wants to find the weight of a group of dimes, he used to have to count them instead of pouring handfuls into a container - using the tare-per-container function - around to create a group of dimes of approximately the same weight for online sale purposes). This allows him to easily weigh groups of items when selling them in bulk. It is ideal for coin collectors, gold panners, etc. It is small, lightweight, but accurate and easy to use. Once we resume live auctions/coin shows this will be even more useful. He will order more.
