This ball is value for money compared to other "player" golf balls. Expectations. I'm a decent player (10+/-), have played in very wet and soft conditions and was surprised by both the distance and spin I got from Cut Blue. This ball is not advertised as a long distance ball, but compared to my Bridgestone/Srixon ball flight and distance were on the same page. The iron shots were correct at mid-launch, not even swollen upwind. The amount of SPIN is incredible, even on a wet lane with mild conditions, balls that land on the green bounce and bounce back a little. It was a pleasant surprise, I wasn't expecting it at all, my playing partners were just surprised! The ball has a very nice FIRM feel and had no problem attracting Cut Blue. As a bonus, I used the same ball through 18 holes, hit a tree but generally left it in play and it looks 90% new. This is a tough ball, no cuts, scrapes or bruises. There has been talk of how white I think the ball is, I haven't noticed a huge difference. If you want more distance, this ball may not be for you. If you're looking for a solid ball, short distance, good control and lots of spin, Cut Blue might be for you. I have no reason not to use Cut Blue this season. Not only is Cut Blue a great price, it's a great ball. *** Please note this is the 2018 version and NOT the current Cut Blue version.
