We bought these stairs to help our dog who doesn't like floors without carpet lol. They work great and look pretty good! They're used at our main entrance to the house on the two flights of stairs we have, so they're also great for picking up dirt and leaves before someone comes in and takes off their shoes. Be sure to measure your stairs, if the product is not too short in width the product will still look good. The product was a bit large for our staircase due to having recently added crown moldings, but I had no problem measuring and trimming the product to fit properly. They are very easy to clean and stick very well. Not sure if the product is intended for permanent use but ours seem to be temporary and I can take them off the stairs fairly easily. They generally stay in place, but if someone steps on them incorrectly, they'll slip off a bit. I recommend this product. We've been using them daily for about 4-5 months and they handle average traffic very well! For the price and quality they are phenomenal! Thank you Joseph P.
