Used this set for my daughter's baby shower. Plates and cutlery are made of durable, thick plastic, look expensive and break easily. In fact, I was asked if they should be thrown away or washed. My decision to purchase this set was due to the pre-packaged cutlery. With COVID being an issue I didn't want people reaching for the cart and touching multiple spoons and forks. The napkins around the cutlery are thick, soft as linen and open as wide as the size of a linen napkin. This set can easily be used for a wedding or a formal event. I would buy again. Great price for quality dishes
