Review on Thermo Tec 14620 Heat Sound Suppressor by Jacob Kuntz

I put this insulation on both sides of the plywood engine cover. Diesel engine noise is greatly reduced. And almost no heat. Before we add the insulation, once we get to our destination, it will take several hours of AC to cool the bedroom - no more. The material and adhesive are quite durable - the insulation applied to the underside (facing the engine) showed no heat degradation - did not sag, did not discolour - after almost 6000 miles. I bought enough to make the bottom but was able to cover almost the entire top with the remaining pieces. Good product!
