Love love love these lights. They make the perfect Christmas tree lights. The lamps themselves are very small, but the light they give off is not overwhelming, but rather warm and comfortable, unlike other LED lamps. They are also easy to thread onto branches as they are not bulky and only have 2 wires instead of a bundle of 4. However, you must be careful not to kink the wires as they are solid and not stranded. With proper care, these lamps should last for many, many years. Since they are LED and not connected in series, you don't have to worry about the bulbs burning out and the whole chain not working. Very little heat is generated and the wire is barely visible. For a large 8 foot tree, expect about 5 bundles of 52 foot coils. It may seem like a lot, but 250 feet stretched in the branches from the bottom up wears out pretty quickly. Each string comes with its own DC power supply.
