Review on ๐Ÿงถ Knitter's Pride KP800415 Knit Blockers and Pin Set by Barbara Simmons

Eliminates blocking fatigue but beware of little burrs on the tips

Very easy to knit blockers, where have you been all my life?! The pins are very sharp and stay where you put them. You really get rid of the tedious work of lace: the process I used to dread has now become a pleasure. A box is not enough for a pointed cloth, so I will buy more. I took off a star because these blockers are more expensive than they probably should be, and -- here's a real word of caution -- some of the sharp needles have tiny burrs that can snag on your knit if you're not very careful . I mean the ridges are so small that you can't see them, but your fine knitting will definitely feel them. Another reviewer mentioned that she will file her bollards, which I intend to do, except I'm concerned that filing will make them more likely to rust with future use, which is worse than having burrs! So I'm going to ask the Knitter's Pride people before I pick up a file or needle sandpaper just to make sure I don't cause any more problems. These are really really good tools that I recommend to anyone who doesn't like blocking with t-pins or wire - just be careful when removing the blockers and use your fingers to support the knitting rather than pulling the blockers out to clear the knitting Minimize possibility of getting stuck on your delicate work. .
