Original BMW parts are also produced by MANN. This one is cheaper and the number of folds is about the same and cheaper. On my 2007 BMW X5 3.0 these filter pleats are about 1mm wider compared to the BMW part and had to be pressed in to fit the housing. I don't think that will stop me from buying this filter again.
