Five Stars: Filter

This air filter fits my 2008 BMW X5 E70 very snugly so take your time installing it. It's good that it's so tight because the airtightness is very good. I will buy again.

Quality replacement

The packaging looks much better on the outside. The personal feel and quality is great and I would recommend this replacement to anyone! I will definitely buy again next time I change the filter. In fact, at that price, I almost bought two

Same BMW quality: Spare parts

Original BMW parts are also produced by MANN. This one is cheaper and the number of folds is about the same and cheaper. On my 2007 BMW X5 3.0 these filter pleats are about 1mm wider compared to the BMW part and had to be pressed in to fit the housing. I don't think that will stop me from buying this filter again.

Well made and close fitting. Exactly as it should be

Vehicle: 2009 BMW X5 E70 It's usually good for the part to snap easily into place, but not when it's an air filter. Anything that isn't snug all around lets dirt in, which is definitely *not* designed for an air cleaner. This requires a bit of care when installing to ensure it is seated properly on all sides and does not block the top of the airbox when reinstalled. I suggest inserting the back corners first and then going to the front corners and double checking to make sure no part of the…
